The inventory of motor vehicles in Laos increases year by year. As the main alternative vehicle, the inventory of motorcycles exceeds 6 million. With the popularization of freight vehicles and agricultural machinery, the annual output of waste and scrap tyres exceeds 50000 tons, 70% of which is concentrated in Vientiane, Vientiane Province and other transportation hubs. Under the local tropical monsoon climate, the high temperature and rainy weather in the rainy season accelerate the aging and damage of tires stacked in the open air, and release the micro plastic to pollute the soil and water sources; The high temperature in dry season causes the decomposition of tires to produce toxic gases, which violates the requirements of Laos Environmental Protection Law on the prevention and control of solid waste pollution. The traditional landfill occupies land and causes serious pollution by incineration. However, Laos encourages recycling of resources and introduces waste and scrap tyre treatment equipment suitable for local working conditions. 

China Yongle Environmental Protection Project customized and optimized the characteristics of waste and scrap tyres in Laos: considering the characteristics of high proportion and small size of motorcycle tyres, the pretreatment stage is equipped with a "multi-specification crushing+magnetic separation" module, which can effectively crush tyres of different sizes and separate metal impurities, and the metal recovery rate is more than 98%; Due to high temperature and heavy rain all the year round, the core unit of the equipment is made of high temperature and corrosion resistant alloy. The pyrolysis reaction cabin is equipped with an insulating and rainproof layer to ensure that the pyrolysis temperature is stable at 400-450 ℃, and the oil yield rate of the tire is over 40%. The recovered pyrolysis oil meets the industrial fuel oil standard of Laos and can be supplied to the local power plants and cement plants as boiler fuel. The whole equipment is designed with sealing and sand prevention to adapt to dusty environment in rural areas. 

Application scenarios cover the whole industry chain: in the waste recycling centers in Vientiane and Savannakhet, the daily processing capacity of a single equipment is up to 5-8 tons, the produced pyrolysis oil can be supplied to the surrounding industrial parks in batches, and the separated carbon black can be used for the production of rubber products or building materials after simple processing, which meets the development demand of circular economy in Laos; At the regional recycling point in medium-sized cities, the modular equipment only covers an area of 90m2, which can quickly connect with the existing recycling network and reduce transportation costs and leakage risks; In small recycling sites in remote villages, the simple equipment operation process is simplified, and local personnel can operate independently after three days of training to handle the waste and scrap tyres produced by agricultural machinery and motorcycles, so as to realize the local utilization of resources. 

Aiming at the demand difference of different regions in Laos, we provide customized scheme: optimize the output proportion of pyrolysis oil for the industrial concentration area, and provide guidance for the deep processing of carbon black for the agricultural area.
