How to install a spiral seal feeder for better results?

The spiral sealing feeder is mainly composed of a spiral shaft, spiral blades, motor reducer, casing, and other parts. The spiral blades push the conveyor in the same direction or in both directions (two-way screw conveyor). The screw conveyor has a compact structure and is easy to adapt to crowded positions, allowing for horizontal, vertical, and inclined conveying.

The overall structure of the spiral sealing feeder equipment is simple but not simple, so during installation, the following points should be paid more attention to:

Before installation, all parts should be thoroughly counted and all internal and external contamination should be removed to keep the equipment clean.

2. The adjacent flange surfaces should be flat and tight, and the error of the incorrect head at the joint on the inner surface of the casing should not exceed 1.4mm.

3. Allow for stacking errors in the asbestos rubber sheets between the flanges to adjust the length of the casing and screw machine.

4. The suspension bearings of the screw conveyor should be firmly fixed on the lifting ears. After connecting with adjacent spirals, the spiral rotation should be uniform. When installing, please adjust the gasket between the bearing bracket and the lifting lug to ensure the coaxiality of the screw shaft.

When the screw machine is a single driver, the rear bearing cover should be opened, and the distance between the bearing end face and the cover should be less than 20mm.

6. After installing the screw machine casing, tighten the anchor bolts.

7. All connecting bolts have been tightened to a reliable level.

8. The dust collection port, air inlet, and air outlet should avoid the joint between the shoe shell flange and the cover, and generally use on-site welding.
